At some point, every adult has that moment: “This was never a problem before.”
You're not imagining it. Something has shifted. And the answers you've been given, whether “You're fine” or “This is just aging,” haven't been enough.
Betty Harbolic, MS, RDN, has spent nearly 30 years in those conversations, helping thousands of adults understand what’s actually happening in their bodies, what the numbers really mean, and which small, consistent changes make the biggest difference.
Most of what we accept as inevitable is far more preventable than we’ve been told. The earlier you know this, the more of your future you can shape.
Small Things, Real Change is the book that changes how you think about your health and what you do about it, starting today.
Betty Harbolic, MS, RDN is a registered dietitian nutritionist, researcher, and educator. She founded and directed a landmark New York City hospital-based program in metabolic health, co-led NIH-funded clinical trials, and contributed to peer-reviewed research.
